General

These conditions apply to every treatment and transaction between the beauty salon and the client to which the beauty salon has declared these conditions applicable, insofar as the parties have not expressly deviated from these conditions in writing.

Efforts of the beauty salon

The beauty salon will carry out the treatments to the best of its knowledge and ability, and in accordance with the requirements of good workmanship. As well as on the basis of the state of science known at that time. The beauty salon will inform the client as much as reasonably possible about the financial consequences of the change or addition to the treatment.

Appointments

The client must report any impediment to an appointment to the beauty salon as soon as possible, but no later than 24 hours prior to the appointment. If the client arrives at the salon later than the agreed time, the beauty salon may reduce the time lost on the treatment and still charge the entire agreed amount. The beauty salon must notify the client of any impediment to an appointment as soon as possible, but no later than 24 hours prior to the appointment.

Payment

The beauty salon lists all prices of treatments and products visibly in the salon. The reported prices include VAT. Offers in advertisements are valid for the stated period and/or while supplies last. The client must pay for the treatment and any products in cash immediately after the treatment.

Personal data and privacy

Before the first treatment, the client provides the beauty salon with all information that the beautician indicates is necessary or that the client should reasonably understand is necessary for the careful execution of treatments. The beauty salon handles the client's confidential data in accordance with the guidelines in the Personal Data Protection Act.

Confidentiality

The beautician is obliged to maintain confidentiality of all confidential information provided by the client during the treatment. Information is considered confidential if this has been communicated by the client or if this arises from the nature of the information. The confidentiality lapses if, on the basis of a legal provision or a judicial decision, the beautician is obliged to provide the confidential information to third parties.

Liability

The beauty salon is not liable for damage of any nature whatsoever caused by the beautician based on incorrect and/or incomplete information provided by the client about relevant physical conditions, medication use, work or leisure activities. The beauty salon is not liable for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings that the client has brought to the salon.

Warranty

The beauty salon gives the client a one-week (seven days) warranty on the treatment and products. This warranty lapses if the client has used products other than those recommended by the beautician, the client has not followed the advice for home care, the client has not followed the advice to seek medical help within five working days or the client has not used the products in accordance with the instructions, used the instructions for use.

Damage and theft

The beauty salon has the right to demand compensation from the client if the client damages furniture, equipment or products. The beauty salon always reports theft to the police.

Complaints

If the client has a complaint about the treatment or a product, this must be reported in writing to the owner of the beauty salon and the beautician treated as soon as possible, but within five working days after discovery. The beauty salon must provide the complainant with an adequate response within five working days. If a complaint is justified, the beauty salon will perform the treatment again as agreed, unless this has demonstrably become pointless for the client and the client makes this known in writing. If the beauty salon and the complainant cannot reach an agreement, the complainant can submit the dispute to the legislator or mediator.

Law

Dutch law applies to every agreement between the beauty salon and the client. In case of interpretation of the content and scope of these general terms and conditions, the Dutch text always prevails. The most recently filed version or the version that applied at the time the agreement was concluded always applies.
